Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how cancellations, failed reviews, subscriptions, one-time reviews, and Deep Review add-ons are handled for AI Thesis Reviewer.

Current Payment Status

Payments are not currently live. While the product is in beta or payment approval mode, no paid review purchase is completed through the public website.

This policy will apply once paid plans, one-time reviews, subscriptions, or add-ons are enabled through Razorpay or another payment provider.

One-Time Reviews

A one-time review may be eligible for a refund if payment was successful but processing did not start due to a system error.

Once document processing or AI review has started, one-time review fees are generally non-refundable because compute and processing costs are incurred.

If a duplicate payment is confirmed for the same one-time review, the duplicate charge may be refunded after verification.

Subscriptions

Subscription payments generally provide access for the billing period purchased. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period.

Refunds for duplicate charges, accidental renewals, or technical failures may be reviewed case by case.

Unused monthly review credits do not carry forward unless a plan page or offer explicitly says otherwise.

Deep Review Add-ons

Deep Review add-ons are generally non-refundable once the additional review process has started.

If an add-on was charged but not applied because of a system error, we may provide a refund, credit, or rerun.

Technical Failures

If a report fails to generate because of a platform issue, we may attempt to rerun the review, provide credits, or issue a refund depending on the circumstances.

Issues caused by unsupported files, corrupted documents, password-protected files, or user-side upload errors may not qualify for a refund.

Refund Timelines

Approved refunds will be initiated to the original payment method. After initiation, the payment provider or bank may take 5 to 7 business days, or longer where required by the banking system, to reflect the amount.

Refund approval may require verification of the payment reference, account email, review status, and technical logs.

How to Request a Refund

Refund or cancellation requests should be sent to admin@thesisreviewer.com with the account email, payment reference, file name, and a short explanation.

Requests should be raised within 7 days of payment or the failed review event unless applicable law requires a different period.

Changes

We may update this Refund Policy before or after payments go live. The version shown at the time of purchase will guide refund review unless law requires otherwise.
